We are working hard developing our PSES (PEPS) technology further in the EV direction advancing with Electric Shock Absorber for Electric Vehicle Battery Charging (PEPS-EV).
Incidents of electric vehicles catching fire during battery charging are frequently reported. While EV software continuously monitors battery operations, a mechanical switch, akin to a seat belt buckle, is typically used to disconnect the power circuit from the charging cable. The failure of this mechanical switch is often the primary cause of such fires.
To address this issue, our team has adapted the PEPS technology for the electric vehicle industry. The PEPS-EV device incorporates the fundamental principles of PEPS, augmented with logical controllers, to enhance safety during charging. Laboratory tests have confirmed the device’s effectiveness and reliability.
